Record
Corner is one of the few remaining independent record dealers
in the U.K. that specialises in Classical music.
The Classical
Department is run by the proprietor, Tom Briggs, who has been involved
in the classical music scene in the Guildford - Godalming area since
1974
In addition
to the best recordings from the major record companies we also stock
the best from the smaller specialist labels such as Hyperion, Herald,
Bis, Harmonia Mundi, Dutton, Regis, etc.
Classical
music does not have to cost a fortune, many of the best performances
are on mid priced or budget labels. Our specialist staff are happy to
offer independent advice on classical music and recommend recordings.
